His position is the reason my job is shaped the way it is. I have standing to tell it, and a conflict of interest worth admitting up front.
His verdict on the category: impressive, and unusable without a human holding the frame. “You can’t depend on them to go out and build rogue,” he says.
Future iterations might produce good results. He kept pressing the harder question: are those results aligned with your purpose, your intuition, your taste? His answer: “Almost certainly not. The solution is context management, and keeping your seat in the director role.”
